MILLED METAL
NINE SERVICES · THREE DEPARTMENTS · ONE MILLED CONSOLE
Nine keys milled into one aluminium console, one row per department: three for BUILD, two for VERIFY, four for GROW. The size of a key follows from its row; the number on it is the service’s number everywhere on this site. The keys start as blanks with their number. On the first click the robot arm beside the console swings over the key and mills the service’s name into it letter by letter, along a path traced from the typeface — the chips stay where they fall. Once chips lie there, a button on the stage sends the arm to its rack: it swaps the spindle for a brush head and vacuums the console, and an extraction in the base draws in what fell to the floor. The panel shows price and route right away; once the name is cut, the key rises out of its socket. With reduced motion the names are cut from the start. Nothing moves until you do.
WHAT A COMMISSION CAN INCLUDE
YOUR PRODUCT ON THIS STAGE
This console is an example with one fixed design. For a shop or a manufacturer the same technique carries a real product, built to the brief. The first three points go beyond this demo; the last three are how this page is built as well.
Your product as a live model
From the CAD or GLB data you already have, loaded only when a visitor opens it — the page stays light until then.
Finishes and variants
Material, colour and engraving as switches, read from the product options in the shop instead of being typed twice.
Light and stage
Your product in a room with fixed light that belongs to your brand, not in a grey default viewer.
A measured budget
Download size, frames at rest and memory measured before launch. Where WebGL is missing, a still image stands in.
Readable without the model
Every figure also as text: keyboard, screen readers and search engines get the same facts as the model.
Checked on every change
An acceptance run like the one behind this page: touch, reduced motion, a lost graphics context, narrow screens.
